Why Can't I Lose Weight


You may have asked this question of yourself many times.  You've probably  heard other people express the exact same sentiment.  Why can't I  lose weight?

Just the fact that you're reading this shows that you are still looking for a way to find your optimum body weight.

After trying many different diets and weight loss programs you might begin to think that you're a failure.  Where the reality of the situation is that those very same diet and weight loss programs that you have tried have been the failures and not yourself.

They have failed to give you the desired results, not because of a lack of effort on your behalf, but more likely because they weren't targeting the cause of your problem.

Additionally, many diets and weight loss programs leave you feeling hungry  throughout the day and this is not how we are supposed to live.

Just as animals in the wild feel the need to eat when they are hungry humans react in the same way and it is only natural that you should seek out food when you're hungry.

Your diet should supply you with sufficient nutrients to meet your energy needs.   If that's the case you won't feel hungry all the time. But a  weight-loss program that keeps you in constant a state of hunger is  destined to fail.  Nobody's willpower can stand up to feeling ravenous.

It is simply not the natural state of human life.

That is one of the most common reasons why people can't lose weight.  It's just too hard to maintain a starvation diet.  They're detrimental to your health and your body will fight against that starvation message that it is getting.

Your extremely low calorie diets may be the primary cause of your weight gain.  Starvation diets are doomed to fail.  Anybody can lose weight provided the body is getting sufficient nutritional requirements to eliminate hunger pangs and to satisfy the healthy functioning of the body.
